The Fourth Annual Lewis Landsberg Research Day was held on March 19th. Over 130 posters representing various areas of basic science and clinical science research topics were displayed throughout the day at the Robert H. Lurie Atrium. The event provided an opportunity for the FSM research community to come together and learn about the latest research being done by colleagues. The keynote speakers for this year were winners of the 2006 Tripartite Legacy Faculty Award: Melina Kibbe, MD, Guillermo Ameer, ScD, James Surmeier, PhD, Richard Silverman, PhD, Jon Lomasney, MD, and Vincent Cryns, MD. The day concluded with presentation of awards by Dean Jameson for the top Research Day projects in both basic science research and clinical science research. The Women Faculty Organization (WFO) presented awards for outstanding projects in women’s health. Congratulations to all the award winners!
