Research Interests

Improving quality of life for wheelchair users through preventing pressure ulcers and promoting healing process of pressure ulcers; Basic mechanism underlying tissue pressure injury using SCI animal models; modeling tissue response to external loading using FEM; improving posture stability, reducing whole body vibration, and chronic low-back pain in sitting posture;

Sports medicine related injuries; shoulder modeling; improving outcomes of joint replacement with surgical navigation systems for shoulder, knee & hip

Clinical Interests

Preventing secondary complication such as pressure ulcer development post SCI
