History

The Feinberg School of Medicine has always believed strongly in supporting women in medicine. As more women have entered the field, the medical school developed in 1993 the Northwestern Medical Women Faculty Organization (WFO) as a formal entity to enhance the academic environment for women faculty members and their achievements in medicine at Northwestern.
