Dr. Kaplan earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and completed his residency at the University of Chicago. Following a fellowship at Children's Memorial Hospital, he became an attending there and was appointed to the Northwestern faculty. Over his 25-plus years at Children's and Northwestern, Dr. Kaplan has been active in a number of professional societies, often taking a leadership role. He specializes in pediatric urology, pediatric neurourology and urodynamics, and pediatric genitourinary reconstruction.
