Clinical Trials and Outcomes Research

Clinical Trials Research and Outcomes Research under the direction of the Department of Dermatology is conducted both at the Northwestern Memorial Faculty Foundation (NMFF) clinics and at the Children’s Memorial Hospital (CMH) clinics. Virtually all of the clinical faculty serve as principal investigators in clinical research studies. Dr. Dennis West, head of Dermatopharmacology, directs the clinical trials unit. Our dermatology residents and clinical trials postdoctoral fellows based at NMFF or CMH participate with faculty in the design and performance of clinical research.

A guide to some of the Clinical Research that is currently ongoing and the faculty principal investigator (PI) involved is listed below.

To learn more about these clinical projects or for interested patients, call NMFF research (312) 695-0287; or call research at CMH (773) 327-3326, -3346, or -9642.
